KaiserAir, Inc. announce new Santa Rosa Jet Center fixed base operation at the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport
OAKLAND,
Calif. (Aug. 8, 2008) – KaiserAir, Inc. announce today the purchase of Apex Aviation fixed base operation (FBO) located at the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, Santa Rosa, California. KaiserAir has managed and operated the FBO since January 2008, under an agreement with Apex Aviation.
As owners effective on August 1st, 2008, KaiserAir has already begun a remodel and renovation project that will include new construction of the four-acre ramp area, a new fuel farm, a 30,000-square-foot-hangar, a newly renovated terminal building of 8,000 square feet and future additional aircraft hangar storage within 30 months.
The new Santa Rosa Jet Center will be the premier general aviation FBO in the San Francisco Bay Area county of Sonoma, said KaiserAir President Ronald J. Guerra. "KaiserAir is very pleased to offer our world-class service at our new FBO, Santa Rosa Jet Center, to current customers and private aircraft owners visiting the beautiful Sonoma County wine region."
The KaiserAir team will be headed by Vice President and General Manager Glenn Barrett. Barrett is a commercial pilot with a flight instructors rating, a licensed airframe and power plant mechanic with an inspection authorization, and a designated airworthiness representative. A resident of Rohnert Park, Calif., Barrett started his career in a family-owned FBO "and brings a wealth of aviation experience to our company," Guerra said.
KaiserAir, Inc. brings more than 50 years of aviation experience, managing owned aircraft, charter services, hangar storage and fuel delivery services to a growing Sonoma County general aviation community. KaiserAir also operates the premier full service aviation facility, FBO, and FAA-approved 145 maintenace service center at Oakland International Airport, North Field.
